Location:
École Montcalm, Montréal

Date:
Fall/Winter 2016

Project:
We worked with the school administration, teachers and students at the Montcalm primary school in Montréal to propose improvements to the school and classroom environment.

My role: Classroom observation and documentation both at Montcalm and other primary schools in Montreal; interviews with teachers, students and professionals; research on classroom furniture and ergonomics; infographics and presentations to summarize the challenges the school faces (classroom layout, furniture, ergonomics, lighting, sound, architecture, etc.); photography to document the process; design solutions for a reorganization of the classroom and some aspects of the corridor.
